MOOREVILLE – Teri Richey took a spill rounding first base Thursday night against Mantachie. She got up, went back to first base and smiled it off. That’s how good it went for Mooreville in a 9-6 win over Mantachie in a key Division 2-3A game.
The division features powerhouse Nettleton as well and all three have losses to another, each with a game left against each other.
“This division is tough, one of the toughest around. You better be ready every time you play,” Mooreville coach Perry Wilburn said. “We got the hits when we needed them tonight.”
