Mooreville didn’t get off to an ideal start to the season but it’s not exactly doom and gloom for the Troopers. They have won three of their last four and have averaged more than 40 points per win.
Friday, Mooreville (3-3) goes to Water Valley to start Division 2-3A play.
“We’ve got a really good division but Water Valley and Aberdeen and Charleston are as good as any in the North,” Mooreville coach Kevin Austin said. “I think either of those three could go to Jackson and unfortunately two of them are in my division.”
