The 2012 slowpitch playoffs begin Oct. 9. Some divisions are still to be determined, including 2-3A, where state champ Nettleton goes to Mooreville tonight and hosts Mantachie Thursday.
In 1-3A, Booneville is at Kossuth tonight. Kossuth still has to play Alcorn Central but tonight’s game should decide which of those two go first and which one goes second into the playoffs.
Smithville improved to 4-0 in 4-1A with last night’s 6-1 win at Houlka and hosts Eupora in a non-division game tonight.
