Baldwyn keeps winning but the pressure keeps mounting. The Bearcats beat Okolona 38-6 on Friday night, a victory that sets up a monster division game at Bruce next week.
Both teams are unbeaten in Division 1-2A.
“We’ve done it to ourselves,” Baldwyn coach Michael Gray said. “Last week’s game made this one even more important. Now it’s really important. We’ve got a chance to win our division.”
The Bearcats (5-3, 2-0) scored on their opening drive on Duke Upshaw’s 5-yard run and outscored Okolona 17-0 in the third quarter, including a pair of safeties.
