Talked with Mantchie football coach Lynn Moore this morning about his Mustangs, a 4-4 team looking for its first playoff appearance since 2007.
Mantachie beat Mooreville for only the second time in nine years Friday.
“We just try to get better each week want to win one game a week,” Moore said. “We’ve succeeded four weeks and failed four weeks. At the end, hopefully we win enough weeks to get there. That wont be easy.”
South Pontotoc visits Friday.
