Bruce hosts West Bolivar Friday in the Class 2A quarterfinals. Trojans coach James Ray told me today he was impressed at how hard Mississippi State-committed back Kailo Moore ran the ball against Ackerman last week.
Ray said Moore has world class speed.
“We have to get to him quick and can’t let him use his speed. And hit him. He’s a tough guy, running harder than he’s ever run. We’ve got to hit him often. That’s our gameplan.”
