Ashton Shumpert arrived at the Itawamba AHS field house Thursday afternoon with two Mississippi State recruiters waiting on him.
The 4-star running back is still being chased by 10 schools but still isn’t ready to make a final decision on where he’ll play his college football, saying Thursday he may hold off on that decision until national signing day in February.
He says his list isn’t even narrowed down at this point. Or is it?
“I’ve kind of got one, but it’s not revised yet,” Shumpert said, then smiled. “Some people try to tell me I know, but I really don’t.
Shumpert will spend next week in Montgomery, Ala. preparing to the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic.
